DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday declined of taking decision over blockade from November 4 to 6 during JSC and JDC examinations.
The spokesperson for the party claimed that the media is responsible for publishing such news and they should have talked with us before publishing report.
He also assured the countrymen that the hartal and blockade programmes of 18-party in November and December would be staged excluding the scheduled exam dates of educational institutes.
Fakhrul also mentioned about the ‘O’ and ‘A’ level exams which were out of previewing recent 60-hour hartal.
He was talking to banglanews over phone.
However, Education Ministry has already decided that the examinations will be held in Friday, Saturday and other public holidays if needed due to political unrest.
