BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned home today (Dec 12) following a 10-day visit to London.

Fakhrul, accompanied by his wife, Rahat Ara Begum, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:45 pm on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight.

BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan confimred the matter.

During his visit, Mirza Fakhrul met with the party's Acting Chairman, Tarique Rahman, to discuss political matters. 

He also attended several party events and engaged in discussions with local journalists.

According to party sources, Fakhrul, Tarique Rahman, and other leaders deliberated on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's visit to London for medical treatment.

Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to undergo treatment in the UK before traveling to the United States for further care.
