Three front organizations of the BNP - Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swecchasebak Dal — initiated a protest march today (December 8) to submit a memorandum to the Indian High Commission.
The march began with a procession from the BNP central office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka, at 11:30 am.
Leaders and activists of the three organizations led the demonstration, denouncing the alleged attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala.
In a statement issued on Saturday (December 7), BNP's affiliate organizations announced the protest march, citing grievances over the alleged attack on the Assistant High Commission, the dishonoring of Bangladesh's national flag, and conspiracies to incite communal unrest.
The joint initiative was organized by the central leadership of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal.
Leaders including Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan; Swechchhasebak Dal President SM Jilani and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan; and Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir, called upon activists from all levels to participate in the program spontaneously and on time.
