Three front organizations of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have announced plans to hold a protest march today (December 8) in response to the recent attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, India.
The march is scheduled to begin at 10 AM today from the BNP's central office in Nayapaltan in the capital.
The march, organized by the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal, and Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
The protesters aim to voice their strong condemnation against the attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, which has sparked outrage in Bangladesh.
Additionally, the protestors will express their anger over the alleged desecration of the national flag of Bangladesh and the claims of a conspiracy to provoke communal riots within the country.
A memorandum will be presented during the march to highlight the grievances, with demands for immediate action against those responsible for the attack and the alleged acts of provocation.
The joint press release, issued by Chhatra Dal's office secretary Jahangir Alam, calls on party leaders and activists to be present at the protest.
