DHAKA: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Tuesday said he would not take part in the upcoming parliament elections.
The adviser to the premier told the journalists that he would work for Awami League.
Joy came up with the assertion after he landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from United States in the evening.
Expressing hope, he said, “I think opposition BNP will take part in dialogue with Awami League. I will work for party but will not take part in election.”
He also criticized BNP’s stance about dialogue.
