LAXMIPUR: A Jubo Dal leader was shot to death by miscreants at Dighuli village under sadar upazila of the district on Sunday.

The victim is local Jubo Dal leader Nizam Uddin, 35, of Mandari union of sadar upazila.

Sources said on Sunday around 11:00am miscreants abducted Nizam Uddin from in front of his house.

In the noon, he was found in injured condition beside a road. He was rushed to Dhaka where he succumbed to his injuries on way.

Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Ikbal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
