DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina couldn’t reach Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia, also BNP Chairperson over phone as two red phones of her were out of service.

Opposition Leader’s media wing member Sairul Kabir Khan told journalists on behalf of   her personal secretary Saleh Ahmed on Saturday afternoon.

Sairul Kabir Khan told banglanews that BNP Chairperson’s telephone in Parliament is switched off on Saturday and her residence phone was not in service for several days.

Earlier, Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League president, called Khaleda Zia over phone from 1:15pm to 1:45pm to urge for holding dialogue in resolving ongoing political deadlock but faied to reach.
