DHAKA:Jamaat-e-Islami men, from a procession, blasted two petrol bombs in capital’s Magbazar area on Saturday morning.

Sources said activists of Ramna thana unit of Jamaat brought out a brisk procession in the area at around 10:30am.

They chanted slogans in support of the October 27-29 hartal and demanding release of Jamaat’s top leaders.

When the procession reached at Wireless gate, the protesters exploded two petrol bombs that created panic in the area.

Ramna thana unit Jamaat secretary Habibur Rahman, thana unit working council member Yusuf Ali Molla, Chhatra Shibir’s ex-office secretary Ataur Rahman Sarcer, Shibir leaders Shariful Islam and Hafez Ashraf Ali lead the procession.
