DHAKA: Jatiya Ganatantrik Party (JAGPA) Chief Shafiul Alam Pradhan categorically said Khaleda Zia is head of Interim government from now and Awami League should take permission from her instead of police.

He made the assertion while addressing 18-party rally at city’s Suhrawardy Udyan on Friday noon.

Shafiul Alam Pradhan said, “We urged to interim chief Khaleda Zia to release detained Jamaat leaders and BNP leaders accused for war crimes.”

In the rally, BNP vice Chairman Moyazzem Hossain Alal claimed Awami League as a slaughtering party as they killed hundreds of Muslims in Shapla Chattar and demanded to title the place as ‘Martyrs Chattar’.
