TANGAIL: District BNP called a down-to-dusk hartal for Wednesday protesting the arrest former president of Jatiyotabadi Chhatra Dal Sultan Salahuddin Tuku.

The announcement came after a BNP procession near old bus stand area of the district town on Tuesday morning.   

District BNP organizing secretary Farhad Iqbal confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Law enforcers arrested from in front of BNP Nayapaltan office on Monday night.

In the meantime, Sultan Salauddin Tuku was shown arrest in two cases filed with Paltan Thana for obstructing and attacking police on Monday night.
