DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia categorically said that no election could be held in the country sans BNP.

He came up with the observation while addressing a rally at National Press Club in the capital on Saturday noon.

Barrister Rafiqul Islam said: “Recent reports of various print media said that people want to see power in BNP’s hand, but present government is trying to make a plot to hold power.”

He also warned that there would not be any election without BNP.

Meanwhile, others BNP leaders were present in the citizen rally.
