DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir categorically said that BNP’s proposal for restoring caretaker government would not be passed in parliament due to fewer number of opposition lawmakers in the House.

He came up with the apprehension in a press briefing at party’s Nayapaltan on Friday noon.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is not cordial about dialogue. She changes topics spontaneously while said nothing about caretaker government.”
