DHAKA: Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni is set to visit South Korea and China from October 16 to 22 to hold talks with her counterparts on bilateral issues in a bid to boost bilateral relations with the eastern precinct.

Foreign Ministry sources said during the visit, the Foreign Minister will have a bilateral meeting with South Korean and Chinese Foreign Ministers.

Sources also said that the main reason for her visit is to participate in a seminar titled ‘Seoul Conference on Cyber crime’, which is scheduled to be held in South Korea on October 17-18.

Dr Dipu Moni will return to home on October 22.

However, Sources said, the scheduled visit depends on the political circumstances of the country.
