DHAKA: Norwegian ambassador to Bangladesh Ragne Birte Lund hold a courtesy meeting with the opposition leader Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence on Monday night.

Sources said they were engaged in a lively discussion on bilateral issues and ongoing political situation of the country.

The ambassador urged the opposition leader to resolve the current political crisis through talks.

During the time, BNP’s vice chairman Shamser Mobin Chowdhury and Khaleda Zia’s advisor Riaz Rahman, among others, were present.
