RAJSHAHI: At least 10 people, including five police men, were injured in a clash between Chhatra Shibir activists and law enforcers in Alokar intersection area of the district on Thursday noon.

Witnesses said, according to the previous announcement, Shibir activists brought out a procession and police obstructed them.

Meanwhile, Shibir activists threw cocktails aiming police and locked into clash with police.

Later, police opened fire rubber bullets and teargas shell to disperse the procession.

Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Model Thana Ziaur Rahman Zia told banglanews: “The injured were given first aid and the situation is now under controlled.”
