NATORE: The daylong hartal, called by BNP, is underway in Baraigram Upazila of the district amid stray incidents of violence.

Witnesses said that BNP leaders and activists brought out several processions supporting hartal and barricaded four roads. They also set fire to tyres.

The shops were kept shut while no long-route bus left the uapzila.

District BNP called dawn-to-dusk hartal in Baraigram Upazila as a Jubo Dal leader was killed and 10 others were injured in a fierce clash between Awami League activists on Friday.
