NATORE: A Jubo Dal leader was killed and 10 others were injured in a fierce clash between Awami League activists in Baraigram upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Abul Bashar, 30, Vice-president of Baraigram Upazila Jubo Dal.

Sources said the clash took place between Awami League and BNP men around 6:00pm, leaving one dead and injured others 10.

Injured were admitted to Natore Sadar Hospital.

On the other hand, district BNP called dawn-to-dusk hartal in Baraigram Upazila for Saturday protesting the killing.  

District BNP general secretary Aminul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
