SYLHET: District BNP has called dawn-to-dusk hartal in Sylhet for Thursday demanding whereabouts of party leader M Ilias Ali.

Shechhasebak Dal, Chhatra Dal, Tanti Dal, Chhatra Sangram Parishad, Olama Dal will observe the hartal under the banner of ‘Ilias Mukti Parishad’.

‘Iliash Mukti Parishad’ convener Advocate Shamsuzzaman announced the hartal on Wednesday in a meeting after ending a protest procession demanding release of Ilias Ali.
