Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) police have arrested Amir Hossain Amu, a presidium member of the Awami League and a former minister, from the Dhanmondi area of the capital on Wednesday (November 6).

Additional Police Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the Matter.

He said that Amu is accused in multiple murder cases. He was arrested in a specific case and will be produced before the court seeking interrogation.
