DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Police obstructed a procession brought out by ‘Ganajagaran Mancha’ demanding arrest of miscreants who are allegedly involved with the fierce attack on Arif Noor, one of the organizers of the platform.

The procession was obstructed near city’s Doyel Chatter started from Shahbagh intersection around 12.00 noon on Tuesday.

Ganajagaran Mancha activists brought out the procession to place a memorandum to home ministry demanding initiatives for investigation and arrest the miscreants allegedly attacked Arif Noor on September 7.

Later, a team led by Ganajagaran Mancha convener Dr Imran H Sarker moved through the secretariat to place the demand note.
