RAJSHAHI: At least 10 students were injured in a factional clash of Chhatra League on Rajshahi University campus on Saturday afternoon over a trifling matter, witnesses said.

Campus sources said the supporters of Apu and Joy started trading gunshots at about 3:30pm following an altercation over smoking.

“Tensions mounted as both groups equipped with arms took position on the campus,” says a spot account of the campus rioting, adding that cocktail blasts were heard in the midst of troubles.
