DHAKA: The prosecution panel at the International Crimes Tribunal Monday submitted a petition to the tribunal for issuing arrest warrant against detained Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Delawar Hossain Sayedee on war-crime charges.

Jeyad Al Mamun, a member of the lawyers` panel, handed the petition to Shahinur Islam, Registrar of the tribunal after the day’s court proceedings against four other top leaders of the party.

Earlier on July 29, Helal Uddin, the investigation officer, submitted a report on probe findings to the prosecution panel.
