Three school students were killed as their motorcycle hit a road side tree at Dhalapara in Ghatail upazila of Tangail on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Sharif, son of late Samir Uddin of Jhaipata village, Abu Bakkar, son of Shahjalal of the same village and Shahin, son of late Ramzan Ali. 

Three of them are class-X students of Dhalapara SUP High School.

Dhalapara Union Parishad Chairman Ezaharul Islam Bhuiyan told Banglanews that the motorcycle carrying the victims lost control and hit the road side tree at 10:30am, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
