Dhaka: Four joint secretaries, one deputy secretary and one assistant commissioner of the public administration were Monday given transfers and postings in a latest round of reshuffle in the bureaucracy.

Establishment Ministry issued separate notifications to this effect.

As per the notifications, officer on special duty (OSD) joint secretary Nazmul Hye was transferred to RAJUK as a member and OSD joint secretary Tapan Kumar Karmakar posted to Finance Department in the same position.

Secretary (joint secretary) of Bangladesh Shilpakola Academy Kamal Kanti Baidya was made joint secretary of the Home Ministry and Member (joint secretary) of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) Golam Mohammad Jahirul Islam appointed joint secretary of the Home Ministry.

Besides, OSD deputy secretary SM Nurul Alam was posted to Commerce Ministry as an advisor and assistant commissioner (AC) of Feni DC Office Begum Rumana Rahman Shampa transferred to Chittagong Regional Public Administration Training Center as Assistant Director.
