The namaz-e-janazas of Saiful Islam Alif, the lawyer who was killed during a clash involving police, lawyers, and followers of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, were held today (November 27).

The first janaza took place around 10:45 am on the Chattogram court premises, attended by a significant number of lawyers and local residents. 

His body was then moved to the Jamiatul Falah Mosque grounds, where the second janaza was held later in the morning.

According to sources, the final janaza is scheduled for the afternoon in Lohagara, Chattogram, where Saiful Islam will be laid to rest. 

The janazas have drawn widespread participation from colleagues and members of the community, Banglanews correspondent reports.
