Detective Branch (DB) of Police the Barguna district, arrested two alleged drug traders along with 2 kgs of hemp from Chowrasta area of ward no. 7 under Amtali Pourashava of the district today.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Milan Molla, 40, son of late Sikandar Molla of Rupatali village of Barishal Kotwali Police Station and Golam Rabbi, 25,  son of late Ayub Ali of Taj Kathi village of Ward No. 23 of Barishal  district town.

On secret information, the DB Police team led by sub-inspector (SI) Imam Hossain and sub-inspector (SI) Rubel Hossain of the District DB arrested them with the ganja around 7:10am this morning.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Barguna district DB police Md Bashir Alam said the arrested have been dealing in drugs in this area for a long time.
    
A case has been registered against the arrested under the Narcotics Act and they will be produced before the court.
