Minister of Health Samanta Lal Sen on Sunday (June 9) warned director of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) to not discriminate or create any dispute with journalists.

He said was talking in the BSRF dialogue organized by Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum (BSRF) at the Secretariat this afternoon.

Earlier, Brigadier General Md. Asaduzzaman, director of DMCH issued a notice saying without permission, Hospital employees cannot give interviews or statements to the media.

When attention was drawn to the director's notice, the health minister said, "I called the director this morning to ask why such an incident is happening. Later, the director came to me and i told him let journalists act accordingly. There should not be any kind of discrimination or any kind of dispute hin DMCH premises."
