Popular actor of this generation Tasnia Farin has received an award at the prestigious Fajr International Film Festival in Iran for her performance in the film “Fatima”.

The actress has been honoured with Crystal Simorgh Award in The Eastern Vista Section for the Dhrubo Hasan- directed film at the 42nd edition of the film festival.

Farin confirmed the news with a post on her Facebook page on Sunday. 

“Thank you 42nd Fajr Film Festival for honouring me with the Crystal Simorgh Award for my performance in The Eastern Vista Section for my film ‘Fatima’, the post reads.

I wish I could stay one more day to receive the award with my own hands but I couldn’t be happier that my director Dhrubo Hasan bhaiya received it on behalf of me. Thank you jury for loving my work and thank you for the warmest welcome I got in Tehran. This was truly a dream come true moment”, it added.
