FROM HOUSE: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Thursday said the government would take legal action against Darul Ihsan University as irregularities gripped it.
The education minister made the disclosure while addressing parliament in response to a query from lawmaker Rehana Akter Ranu.
Nahid told the House that a probe committee consisting one member was formed to investigate into the allegations and irregularities of Darul Ihsan University and take proper action.
The minister said, “The educational institutes which will only sell certificates in the name of education, the government will take strict action against them.”
He also mentioned various benefits to government teachers during Awami League government.
