SYLHET: The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has introduced Wi-Fi Internet connections in two residential halls Monday.

Professor Dr M Saleh Uddin formally inaugurated the technology at Shah Paran Hall and Second Hall.

"Education and research will get a boost with introduction of high speed internet connections," he said.

The university offers the service at free of cost.

Treasurer of the university Dr Elius Uddin Biswas, Associate Professor and Provost of Shah Paran Hall Syed Hasanuzzaman, Provost of Second Hall Professor Dr M Anwarul Islam were present.
