The Department of Pharmacy at Southeast University (SEU) successfully organized a workshop on hospital pharmacy on December 1 in the Shahid Rakib Hall of SEU.
The workshop brought together leading professionals from the field to share their expertise with over 150 enthusiastic students. Senior hospital pharmacists from renowned healthcare institutions including Square, AMZ, Impulse, Ibn Sina, and Evercare provided valuable insights into the growth, management, and future prospects of the hospital pharmacist profession in Bangladesh.
Their discussions highlighted the critical role hospital pharmacists play in ensuring quality healthcare delivery and patient safety.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of SEU, and Prof. Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor of SEU.
The session was expertly moderated by Professor Dr. Abul Hasanat Alamgir, Director, Institute of Research and Training (IRT) fostering an engaging and interactive environment for participants. This event exemplifies SEU’s commitment to advancing pharmacy education and bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, empowering students to excel in the evolving healthcare landscape.
