DHAKA: A total of 54,412 students got scholarships in Primary School Certificate examinations for academic year 2013.

Among them, 21,978 students obtained talent-pool scholarships and 32,434 general scholarships.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Advocate Mostafizur Rahman revealed the scholarship result of the successful students at his ministry on Sunday noon.

Last year 52,000 students got Primary School Certificate or PSC scholarship.

However, around 25,19,032 students took part in the PSC terminal examination where 24,83,142 students secured their passing marks this year.

The passing rate in PSC is 98.58 percent and Ebtedayee Terminal for class five-grade is 95.80 percent this year.
