DHAKA: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations under all the 10 education boards begin on Sunday morning.

A total of 1432,727 students are appearing from 27,489 educational institutions across the country.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid in a press briefing at his office Saturday said that the government has completed all preparations to hold the SSC examinations in a peaceful manner.

As per the exam routine, theoretical examinations will end by March 22 and practical examinations will be held from March 23 to 27.

The minister also said the results would be published within 60 days (May 20) after the examinations are completed.
