In celebration of World Teachers’ Day 2024, Southeast University (SEU) organized a discussion event on Monday (Oct 7), at the SEU Multipurpose Hall. 

Renowned writer, scholar, jurist, and intellectual Professor Dr. Salimullah Khan attended the event as the Chief Guest, while SEU Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, chaired the program.

In his speech, the Chief Guest highlighted various aspects of ensuring the quality of education in our country, drawing from the education systems of developed nations. He emphasized that the proper development of education is a key indicator of a nation’s progress.

The event also featured speeches by Professor Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Dr. Md. Serajul Islam, Dean of the School of Business Studies (SBS). The Registrar, Additional Registrar, Deans, heads from both academic and administrative departments, faculty members, officials, and student representatives from 19 student clubs of Southeast University also participated in the event.
