Bashundhara Technical Institute (BTI) has paid tribute to the martyrs of the historic Language Movement, marking Shaheed Dibash (Martyrs’ Day) and International Mother Language Day.

Wearing black badges, teachers and students of the institute left the campus for the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital early Wednesday. They placed a wreath at the altar of the Shaheed Minar to pay homage to the language heroes.

Marking the significance of the day, BTI held a discussion on its campus and organised an essay competition among the students.
