DHAKA: The country’s two bourses witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over one point to stand at 4,132 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 143,574 with transaction at Tk 6,902 million.

Of the issues traded, 113 advanced, 152 declined and 24 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 500 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSCCL SQURPHARMA PADMAOIL MPETROLEUM TALLUSPIN OLYMPIC APEXADELFT HEIDELBCEM and UNITEDAIR.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index rose over 77 points to stand at 8,058.
 
Out of the issues traded, 78 gained, 126 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
