Job seekers have faced hassle while submitting their pay-order forms of Rupali Bank Thursday evening at its Motijheel corporate office in the city.

According to the requirements of the Rupali Bank’s recruitment process, sources said, some 20 persons thronged the bank for submitting pay order forms. But the bank officials asked them to come next day as a farewell party was on there, they added.

On requests of some applicants who came from the city outside, sources said, the Bank authorities asked them to come after 5 pm.

All the activities of the bank were stopped for some hours as the authority gave farewell to its Deputy Managing director Ibn Jahan.

On condition of anonymity, an officer of the bank said,” Jahan is very popular official, and everybody was to present in his farewell party.”

An applicant, however, alleged that, most of them had to return without getting their pay orders.
