DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 44 points to stand at 8,288 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 155,084 with transaction at Tk 7,100 million. Of the issues traded, 169 advanced, 89 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

RNSPIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 552 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GENNEXT, TALLUSPIN, GOLDENSON, CMCKAMAL, PTL, ARGONDENIM, DELTALIFE, LANKABAFIN and ENVOYTEX.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,429 by gaining over 88 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 126 gained, 71 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
