HILI (DINAJPUR): Indian government, on Thursday night, reduced the export price of onion to Bangladesh to $350 per metric ton from $800 per metric ton.

Earlier on Tuesday (December 17), the price was reduced to $800 from $1150 per metric ton.

One of the onion exporters of Hili Land Port Mobarak Hossain told banglanews that they came to know the news of price reducing on Thursday night.

He also said: “From now on, some 3MT onion could be exported in the price of one metric ton... This will help to reduce the price of onion in the country.”
