DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 112 points to stand at 4,310 at the close on the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 120782with transaction at Tk 5415 million. Of the issues traded, 247 advanced, 29 declined and 10 remained unchanged.

DELTALIFE topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 609 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were PTL, GENNEXT, JAMUNAOIL, BENGALWTL RNSPIN, BDBUILDING, ARGONDENIM, MPETROLEUM and IFIC.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 84 45 by gaining over 254 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 195 gained, 15 declined and four remained unchanged.
