DHAKA: The prize giving ceremony of Bashundhara LP Gas ‘Festival Offer-2013’ was held at Bashundhara City through distribution of 40 prizes among 25 dealers of Bashundhara LP Gas on Saturday.
Eminent writer Imdadul Haque Milon, also editor of the Daily Kaler Kontho’ was present in the programme as chief guest.
A total of 40 prizes--a motorbike to each dealer, LCD TV to the consumers, Laptop and plane tickets--were distributed as prizes.
In his speech, Milon said Bashundhara Group does not compromise with the quality of products.
He also praised the Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan for his support to thousands children with heart diseases.
Advisor to Bashundhara Group (Press and Media) Mohammad Abu Tayeb, in his speech of special guest, said the business organization, is working with attitude of service, not profit.
Deputy managing director of Bashundhara Group Mahbub-Uz-Zaman (Bashundhara Cement, LP Gas and Sundarban Industrial Complex) presided over the function.
He informed that they are going to establish satellite bottling stations of LP Gas at Kaliganj, outskirt of Dhaka, Chittagong and Bogra which will help to reduce the gas crisis in the city.
He also informed, by 2014, the bottling capability will be increased to 48 lakh tonnes.
Head of Department (Brand and Marketing) SM Jasim Uddin and General Manager (Sale) Nurul Alam were among others present on the occasion.
