DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 52 points to stand at 4,045 at 11:15 am.

Trade deals stood at 18,840 with transaction at Tk 807 million.

Of the issues traded, 189 advanced, 28 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

PADMAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 73 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,856 by gaining over 57 points at 11:15am.

Out of the issues traded, 77 gained, 19 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
