DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 25 points to stand at 3,993 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 86,822with transaction at Tk 3,152 million. Of the issues traded, 169 advanced, 86 declined and 23 remained unchanged.

RINSPIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 153 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ENVOYTEX, GP, GENNEXT, HEIDELBCEM, ARGONDENIM, MPETROLEUM, PADMAOIL, JAMUNAOIL and LANKABAFIN.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,826 by gaining over 64 points.

Out of the issues traded, 102 gained, 79 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
